Children aged 2 years through 6th grade are invited to attend Vacation Bible School, jointly presented by First Christian Church and First Congregational Church, during the evenings of June 26-29.
Participants will take a journey back to ancient Egypt…without ever leaving the church building.
Each day, children will become part of history as they see, hear, touch, and even taste what it was like to live in Pharaoh’s empire. Participants will discover how God remained present with and active in Joseph’s life through both good and bad times by:
- exploring authentic marketplace shops;
- visiting Joseph (who begins the week in Pharaoh’s prison and ends the week in Pharaoh’s palace);
- playing games;
- singing and dancing to lively Bible songs;
- and, sampling tasty snacks.
These experiences will make God’s Word come alive with new meaning for all who participate.
